Apartheid- South Africa Style
And here we are, February 2022. Into our third
year of the so-called pandemic and the inconsistencies continue…
Today saw the continuation of an Athletics
program at the local stadium where the top athletes of the various high schools were to compete in field and track. My sports master advised me
that the program was 2 hours behind due to the fact that for each discipline
(eg Discus…) the athletes in the specific age-group were called to be scanned
(covid) prior to being allowed to compete. This after each athlete was already
scanned in as they entered the stadium as well as having a verified document
from the school indicating his/her age, etc handed in to the organisers. I
repeat, each age -group for each event being scanned before competing! Imagine
the athlete has just completed a 1500m race and is shortly called to
participate in the javelin. He is then scanned and found to be over 37°C. He is then denied the opportunity to participate…and must “isolate”! I will refrain from further comment!
I perused some adverts looking for a possible
vacation for my wife and I and was quite keen on going on a 6- day train excursion
commencing in Namibia and ending in Cape Town. Whilst I would be allowed to fly
to Namibia (unvaccinated), I would not be allowed on the train without
producing my vaccination certificate. Clearly
stated that ONLY FULLY VACCINATED people would be allowed on board! Apparently
Covid does not enter the high flying domain but is rampant on rail transport.
Let me consider what this means to the said
travel company with only a third of South Africans having been vaccinated at
this stage of writing, 10 February 2022. Only one in three qualifies and of the
one in three very few (I would posit) would either have the time or the
finances available to enjoy such a trip. But again let me not dwell on this but
perhaps unpack a few more inconsistencies around the covid vaccination saga. Schools
are now able (allowed) to have the students (vaccinated or unvaccinated) sit
next to each other without masks in class. Playgrounds are filled with unmasked
young people. The very same young people though will not be allowed to enter a
stadium to watch a cricket match unless they are vaccinated. Let me not even
begin to comment on the absurdity of an extremely healthy top athlete in the
tennis world being denied the opportunity to defend his title due to being
unvaccinated.
The dust is slowly settling though on the Covid
world and I will guarantee that once the trillions of dollars have been made by
the pharmaceutical companies and the political world has milked the situation dry,
gaining as much power possible whilst together with the amazingly compliant
media world has succeeded in the biggest most comprehensive brainwashing
exercise post Goebbels’ Nazi administration and the Nationalist Party of South
Africa during Apartheid, our young people will rebel and the Berlin type walls
of Covid will come crashing down on all who continue to cry wolf.
And that time is close. I predict that by May
2022 we will experience a major change in how the idea of a pandemic is viewed
and that Covid will be consigned to a chapter in a dusty tome.
Perhaps then I may be able to make my holiday
plans.
